Oh my gosh how awesome is this!? I had so much fun making it with my toddler and she spent the whole day completely engaged playing with it. I expect it will keep her occupied for a few weeks really.

We made it inside and once it was complete I decided to take it outside so we could make a bit of a mess with cooking. I made up empty formula cans with rice, sand and pasta so Harper could spoon it out into bowls, mix it up, put it on the hot plate and get cooking.

From old boxes we made a kitchen unit complete with sink (a stainless mixing bowl), taps (made from toilet rolls covered in foil), a dish drying rack (cake airing rack), hot plates and an oven. Plus a little microwave and a fridge too. ☺️

She loved pretending to run the water and fill a cup to drink. We baked a cake in the oven and then I left her to it!
