The grocery shop

Some mums may find going to the grocery store an exciting event for them and their child. There are times like this but once you have a few kids I’m pretty sure that changes. And when that time comes online shopping is your best friend.

Less time grocery shopping means more time to do something you enjoy. I use Woolworths but other stores also offer online shopping.  The website is easier than the app from my experience.

Create an account and create a list of your regularly purchased items. This way when you return for your shop next time you just click your list and add the items. No searching required.  You might have several additional random items you don’t normally use and you can search for these. Add to cart. Order is complete. Check out. Delivered to your door. Total time spent: 5 mins.

The key is to have your regularly purchased items list saved on the website ready to go.

The shopping list

But what are we going to eat for dinner each night? It takes time to think of meals and what food items we need to order. No sitting and pondering here… Its called meal planning people and it’s essential if you’ve got small children. There can be no ducking out each day to grab some green beans and cremé fraîche. That trip could take you over an hour whilst lugging small children around and cost you your will to live for the rest of the day.

This Kikki-K magnetised Shopping List and Meal Planner is the answer. You see the peanut butter is low, you add it when you see it. By the end of the week your list is ready. Violá! Check your freezer for what meals you have pre made add these into your weekly meal plan then fill in the gaps.

My week is planned – no last minute dashes.  Violá!! Peace of mind. Move on.  😄👏🏼
